Hospital

Hosptial

an antidefinition

The squeek of a nurse's shoes on the linoleum tiles portrays many days of youth gone by. The comfort of warmed blankets that the late night rounds nurse would bring me left me feel warm and sleepy. The smell of a hopsital conveys the comfort of a room where my sister lay and recieved treatment for another aliment. The green and sterile white of the walls provide the known comfort that soon my sister will be home to play again. The hum of the TV on the wall and the cool air remind me of the kind nurses, doctors and staff that were always there to make everything alright. Everytime I look at a Monopoly board I think of the one that we kept at he hospital for our frequent visits there. For most, the entrance to a hospital is a scary and forbidding place where they experience loss, hurt and illness but to me it is the portal to more days with my sister.
